While it is commonplace to add a buffer at the beginning of the signal chain, we find this to best at the end for optimum results. That said, it���ll work great anywhere you decide to place it. For best results, make sure the EarthQuaker Devices Buffer/Preamp is placed AFTER any fuzz pedals that typically like to see the guitar at their input.
