The Tex Fire Custom humbucker provides a "vintage hot" sound thanks to the unique combination of alnico 2 magnet and hot winding, a perfect blend between traditional PAF vibe and a modern and powerful response to the touch. It's effective in a wide range of musical genres, it sounds more "dry" on the mids with a slightly smoother attack in comparison with the alnico 5 version and . 4-conductors shielded wire.
