Not only does this new lineup represent a brand new beginning for Iron Label, but it also brings with it the long-awaited return of two Ibanez fan favorites: the iconic Iceman and the much-requested Xiphos. Both guitars signify the commitment of Ibanez to the metal genres, and we could choose no more fitting a return for these two, heralded guitars than the newly revamped Iron Label series.
The Iron Label line was originally developed with metal and nothing but metal in mind. We modded and tweaked until we got to the heaviest-hitting metal axes we’ve ever built. They’re purposefully spartan, and you won’t find a feature here that doesn't contribute directly to the bone-rattling, earth-shattering tones these guitars pump out. Carrying forward that same philosophy, the next generation of Iron Label guitars takes this raw metal energy to a completely new level. They sport blacked-out looks, and their supercharged electronics amount to some of the heaviest-swinging metal axes we’ve ever produced.
The ICTB721 comes with a Wizard II-7 5pc Maple/Walnut neck in neck-through construction, an Ebony fretboard, and an Okoume wing body. Furthermore, the guitar features DiMarzio® D Activator H-H pickups and a Mono-rail bridge.
